The bob is a hairstyle that never goes out of style. It can be styled in so many ways and can be worn in any season and always has its big moments.
2016 is the year that the bob is back! For the past few years the “Lob”, which is basically a longer version of the bob, and has a length that falls between the chin and collarbone. This one of the most flattering bobs because it is easy to play around with and create a large variation of styles.

Rihanna and Keri Hilson made the lob quite famous especially the long/short bob where one side was short and the or was long. this was around the years 2008 and 2009. Rihanna also seems be one of the key influencers of this new reoccurrence of the bob again.
Do not be mistaken though, this is not the sharp precise Anna Wintour bob but more of a playful slightly less structured sleek bob. Anna tends to make the look harsh because of the style of bangs she has too but do not be afraid to take the risk, this new bob has been seriously updated!
Rihanna first debuted her new bob on the ‘Ellen show’ and then in her work video. It actually took a few months for the style to catch on but now stars like Gigi Hadid and Zendaya Coleman are also rocking this trend.
